  • How do we feel when we see the drawing?

Do we look at it? What does it make us want to do? Do we feel close to these children? Both of them? Or do we give one of them priority? What can we tell them?

What forms of solidarity?

The ODNS (Organisation for Development through New Forms of Solidarity) and its local offices work tirelessly to educate individuals about solidarity in order to create a more just world.

A culture of solidarity

The ODNS focuses on the types of thinking, attitudes and values capable of generating a culture of solidarity by:

  • refusing to accept the social phenomena that lead to exclusion
  • standing alongside those suffering from poverty
  • promoting sustainable human development

The key aspects of Education for Solidarity

  • Have a positive attitude with regard to other cultures for a better understanding of differences.
  • Analyse the true causes of increased poverty and inequalities.
  • Provide educational activities that inspire people to do all they can to contribute to transforming society.
  • Take into account gender equality through positive discrimination in order to enable women to be a driving force for new development projects.
  • Share what we have and who we are with others.
